How Much Warning Do You Actually Get?

36 HOURS Hurricane Warning Lead Time

Hurricane warnings are issued roughly 36 hours before landfall — enough time to prepare, evacuate, or secure your property.

13 MINUTES Average Tornado Warning Lead Time

Tornado warnings give you about 13 minutes. Have a NOAA weather radio and enable mobile emergency alerts.
